What happens after the BioQuest Academy?

When the 60 hours of BioQuest Academy are over, will I continue to be involved with the program? Yes! The good news is that you will always be a BioQuest Academy graduate. This means that you will be part of a community of young scientists who, like you, are inspired to make a difference in their world. This community shares their experiences and offers advice to help inspire future global health scientists. Specifically, you will get from Seattle Biomedical Research Institute:

• Compensation for your time at the Academy ($450), for taking the SAT II-BioM exam and for the exam fees ($29).
• Access to the BioQuest Academy online wiki community.
• Assistance and mentorship with common senior year activities:
• Letters of recommendation
• College application essay writing support
• SAT II BioM preparation support
• Senior year project assistance and inspiration
• Invitations to various global health and public health events.
• Recommendation to Seattle Biomedical Research Institute volunteering opportunities and internships
