BioQuest Academy

BioQuest Academy is a 60-hour, science job shadow program for high school juniors that is generously supported by Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) Grant Number R25RR024260 from the National Center For Research Resources, a part of the National Institutes of Health, the Byron & Alice Lockwood Foundation and BioQuest donors.

If you are in the Class of 2010 and are looking for paid summer 2009 opportunities to meet scientists, gain hands-on laboratory research experience and want to safely “step into science" at a practicing research organization, please contact Ana Gervassi to learn more about the 2009 application process.

The Academy fundamentally changed my outlook on the future.  I did experiments and tests that I had never dreamed of doing and the mentors taught me how I can contribute to the fight against the diseases that plague developing countries like Africa." - 2007 Academy student
